Helaine is a technology specialist who originally worked in investment banking in Korea for JP Morgan and Citi, where she interacted with senior management from the largest companies operating in the sector, such as LG and Samsung. Helaine moved into private equity whilst in London. Helaine also has a Master's in Finance from London Business School.

Sam Catalano


Sam is a mining specialist with a background in investment banking and fund management. Sam has an extensive knowledge of the global mining market and has excelled at the top investment banks; he was head of mining at Nomura and a vice president at Morgan Stanley. Sam also spent several years as a fund manager for Schroders.

Lionel Therond


Lionel has more than 20 years’ experience as an oil & gas analyst, and has spent the majority of his career at JP Morgan. Whilst at JP Morgan, Lionel managed European analyst portfolios and coordinated global portfolio investing strategies. Lionel also provided sectoral and stock picking advice to European and global portfolio managers. Lionel is a multi-year number one Extel-rated buy-side analyst and his accreditations include: the CFA, an MBA and the IMC.

Riccardo Lowi


Riccardo Lowi is a qualified physician with a financial background. Riccardo has a strong record in investment banking at Credit Suisse having provided coverage on many blue chip stocks such as AstraZeneca, Pfizer and GSK.

Ed Stacey


Edward has a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Oxford and has used his mathematical skills to excel as a support services analyst at HSBC and Societe Generale. During his time in investment banking, Ed covered numerous blue chip stocks such as Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems and Airbus.

James Dolman CFA


James is a seasoned equity research analyst and financial services specialist with over fifteen years' experience. James started his career in institutional asset management with Jupiter Asset Management, and has since worked for both HSBC and RBS. Since 2014 James has worked in both corporate and client facing roles specialising in banks and general financials including small, mid and large cap companies. James is a CFA Charter holder and has completed various finance and economics courses of study. Since 2015, James has been a UK and EMEA equity research judge at the CFA Institutes Research Challenge in London, Chicago, and Prague.

Ed Birkin


Edward has in excess of ten years’ experience as a leisure analyst. The majority of his career was spent at Barclays and Credit Suisse where Ed provided coverage and advisory services to some of the largest leisure companies on the LSE including Carnival, TUI, Merlin Entertainments and Betfair Group.

Youssef Essaegh


Youssef is a technology and fintech specialist who has a strong track record at Barclays where his portfolio of coverage included: Alcatel-Lucent, ARM Holdings, ASML, Ericsson, Logitech and WorldPay. Youssef has two Master's degrees and has a PhD that was commissioned by Amazon and IBM.

David Eaton


David has over 20 years’ experience as an analyst in the real estate industry. David spent the majority of his career at Barclays and Schroders. Aside from equity analysis, David is a well-known and experienced financier.
